Terms of service

## 2. Terms of Service **Who we are** This store is operated by **[full legal business or sole-trader name]**, trading as **Barnwood Works**, of **[full business address and country]**. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean that seller. Contact: **barnwoodworks@outlook.com**. **Application of these terms** These terms, the product information and the policies disclosed before checkout govern your purchase. By placing an order, you agree to the terms properly presented to you before payment, subject to mandatory consumer protections. A subsequent website update will not retrospectively change your order without your agreement. **Orders and payment** You must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information and be authorised to use your payment method. The price, currency, selected product options, delivery charges and any taxes collected by us are shown at checkout. Payment is due when placing the order unless a different arrangement is expressly offered. An automated receipt acknowledges that we received the order. We accept it when we send written acceptance or begin production, whichever happens first. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will notify you promptly and refund payments for the unfulfilled order. An error does not authorise us to increase an agreed price or substitute a product without your consent. **Specifications and custom requests** The listing and any specifications expressly agreed in writing define the ordered product. Please check dimensions, access requirements and selected options carefully. Custom requests form part of the order only when we confirm them in writing. We will not make material substitutions without your agreement. Our handmade tables may show the minor variations explained in the Return and Refund Policy. They must still meet the agreed description and applicable quality and safety standards. **Production and delivery** Tables can take up to **two calendar months from purchase to arrive**, including production and shipping. You acknowledge that the order involves handmade production and is not sold on an immediate-dispatch basis unless expressly stated. This acknowledgement does not excuse non-delivery, a missed agreed deadline or other breach. We will communicate significant delays and seek agreement to a revised date where required. If a delay gives you a legal right to cancel or obtain a refund, we will honour that right. The Shipping Policy explains delivery arrangements. **Cancellations and remedies** Our Return and Refund Policy governs voluntary cancellations and returns, subject to applicable law. Production having begun does not by itself extinguish a statutory right. We remain responsible for supplying conforming products and providing legally required remedies. **Payment disputes** If you have an order or billing concern, please contact **barnwoodworks@outlook.com** so we can investigate and offer an appropriate resolution. Contacting us first is encouraged; it is not a waiver of bank, card-network or statutory rights and does not extend a dispute deadline. We may contest a dispute we reasonably believe is unsupported and submit accurate records relevant to it, including the order details, disclosed delivery timeframe, customer communications, agreed specifications, fulfilment records, delivery evidence and refunds. We handle such information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Accepting these terms does not predetermine a payment dispute. Customers must provide truthful information when raising concerns. Neither party is entitled to retain duplicate reimbursement for the same loss; any duplicate payment will be resolved through the appropriate payment process without restricting a valid claim. **Use, care and responsibility** Use and maintain the table in accordance with the product instructions. Any specific limits on use, loading or environment must be disclosed with the product where material to the purchase. You remain responsible for damage you cause through misuse, but we remain responsible for defects, inadequate instructions and other failures attributable to us as required by law. **Liability** We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory consumer guarantees or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses caused solely by your own breach. Nothing here removes compensation or other remedies available under mandatory law. **Website use and intellectual property** You may not misuse the website, interfere with its security, submit fraudulent orders or infringe another person's rights. Website materials owned by or licensed to us may not be commercially reproduced without permission, except where permitted by law. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners. **Disputes and enforceability** Please send complaints to our contact email with the order reference and proposed resolution. We will consider them in good faith. Applicable law determines the governing law and available courts or dispute bodies; these terms do not remove mandatory protections or access to a forum you are legally entitled to use. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where legally possible. ---
